Safety Base frangible breakaways were developed in the 1970’s as a part of a University of Manitoba PhD research project. The Safety Base system is proudly manufactured in North America and can be found on highways and city streets throughout the world.

With our proprietary reaction and transition plates, we can accommodate customized and retrofit solutions for our customers. With manufacturing facilities in Canada and the United States, an in-house Engineering team, and our recently installed robotic line, Safety Base can readily meet varying demands globally.
